Chris Rickit is the principal of Rickit Law, a specialist law practice providing a full range of property, commercial and corporate legal services. He is a Notary Public.
Chris was previously a partner at Buddle Findlay for a number of years. In 2005 he established Rickit Law. He has acted for corporations, developers, individuals, trusts, charitable organisations, institutions, and investors in both the public and private sectors. His clients have included Landcorp Farming, Wakefield Hospital (now Acurity Health) Boulcott Hospital, NZ Railways Corp, Grand Hotels International (owner of James Cook Hotel Grand Chancellor and a number of retail/office buildings) and BNZ Properties. He is a past member of the Lawyers and Conveyancers Disciplinary Tribunal and a current member of the NZLS Property Law Section.
Chris is married with adult children. He has a wide range of varied interests including sport, literature, politics and films. Chris is a past President of Khandallah Tennis and Squash Club and is an active golfer and tennis player. Chris is a past President of the Wellington Club.
